Hello Paradox Fans!
How were your holidays? Filled with merriment and good cheer? Drink some eggnog? Do you like eggnog? I think it sort of tastes like cinnamon-flavored Elmer’s glue, but I like it anyway. Is that weird?
Just wanted to do a quick update saying that the $5 first issues have been shipped! The complete book will, of course, take a bit longer, since unlike the first issues, it’s not sitting in a box in my closet (and is, in fact, being made as we speak). If anyone pledged for a first issue and doesn’t get it in the next week or so, let me know.
I’d also like to share with you guys a few character designs John (Fortune, the artist) did, because I think they are cool, and perhaps you will too. These are all actual historical figures. If you’d like to learn more about them, consult your local library! Or the internet, I guess. Just don’t consult this comic, because A) it’s marginally less historically accurate than the first Bill & Ted movie and B) as I’ve said before, we’re still working on it, it doesn’t exist yet.
Neat, right? That is one pouty führer.
WE DID IT! This comic is fully funded, and like so many things, has now come to its inevitable conclusion. We’re making a full mini-series! It’s going to be a real trade paperback book, with pages and covers and a spine and such.
I’ll be posting updates on here relatively frequently, so’s you know how we’re doing. If you’d like to check in personally, we have a Facebook page, I have a Twitter (@Jack_McGuigan), or you can just message me on Kickstarter or something. Or email me at jack AT jackmcguigan.com. Look, there’s like half a dozen ways to contact me, and they all go to the same email. If you have any questions or concerns, don’t be afraid to ask, I’m happy to answer whatever.
Great things are happening! Wheels are in motion!
